How I lost 2.5 KG in 3 days without starving
Yes, It is true. I was 3 KG overweight to ideal weight. To release the extra 3 KG weight, I was solely depending on physical exercise only, however I was not getting the desired result. So finally I started to follow natural life style.
Juice fasting is a part of natural life to cleanse the body to get rid of toxic material from it. It is worth doing once in each season. To get the optimal result juice fasting should be done for minimum 3 days and maximum 7 days .
I tried 3 days juice fast and the end of the 3 days I was delighted to see that that I have easily lost 2.5 KG. It was an amazing feeling.
Here how I did it?
Step 1: Preparation for juice fasting -I made the bulk shopping of juice materials which are as bellow (please feel free to add other fruits and vegetables as well)
- Cucumber 2 KG
- Lauki -4 KG
- Spinach – 6 Bundle
- Apple – 3 KG
- Ginger – 250 GM
- Coriander leaves – 1 Bunch
- Coconut water – 3
- Beetroot – 1 KG
- Pineapple – 1 KG
- Carrot – 1KG
- Wheat grass powder / Moringa leaves powder / Spriluna Powder
- A quality juicer: Cold press juicer is the best because it retain the most nutrition value however the second best is the Philips juicer.
Step 2: Juicing time table :The routine for juicing was as below. The minimum juice intake should be taken is 500 ML.
- 8.00 AM – Coconut water
- 10.00 AM – Vegetable Juice
- 1.00 PM – Mix Vegetable juice
- 4.00 PM – Different juice
- 7.00 PM – Apple fuzz /Green Tea/ Juice

Day 1 Experience: I was excited in the morning and was enjoying juicing till lunch time after that what I realised that even though I was not hungry my mind was continuously thinking about solid food. I was feeling little bit of dizziness but no hunger because of regular juice intake. Any way I completed my day 1 of the juice fasting.
Day 2: I was feeling light and was gaining some mental clarity. The day seems to pass little slower. I realise how much mentally I was associated with food and decided to continue the juice fast for all three days.
Juicing Tips 1: One tip here is that if you can involve your other family members in the juice fasting it would be a much easier to continue for 3 days.
Juicing Tips 2: To get the optimal result do the Anima on the second day of juicing. You will feel very light and relaxed.
Juicing Tips 3: Please do not add any kind of salt, chat masala or any thing in the juice except the wheat grass powder/Moringa leavs/ Spriluna.
There was no effect of juicing on my work. I was doing my regular work and morning exercise as usual.
Day 3: The D day. I was feeling quiet light, feeling calm and relaxed. I was feeling quiet energetic and my face skin was glowing.
I was planning that after I break the fast I will eat this and I will eat that. However one peculiar thing happen after the breaking the fast, my emotional attachment with food was gone(up to great extent). I was less attached with food and was having more patience and control with my eating habit.
I was feeling more relaxed, calm and energetic. I weigh again on the 4th Day I could not believe that I have lost 2.5 KG so easily. I weigh myself thrice, I though there is something wrong with the weight machine 🙂
Summary: My intake from three days juice fast is that it is easy to do because you don’t have to starve your body.
You can take as much juice as you need. I believe the juice fasting is more a mental game than physical. Completing the juice fasting makes you stronger not physically but also mentally. It will boos your self esteem and you have more control over your mind.
